Fer a Cheval Marseille Soap Tradition
Marseille soap or Savon de Marseille is a traditional hard soap made from vegetable oils that has been produced around Marseille, France, for about 600 years. Nearly 10 days are necessary for the elaboration of the soap cooked in cauldrons according to the Marseilles process. This traditional know-how, carefully handed down from generation to generation of Master Soap Makers, is still honoured in our soap factory.
